  • Link your Spotify and Apple Music artist profiles
Linking an artist's Spotify and Apple Music profiles tells the stores which artist page your release belongs on. Do it before you submit. If an artist has no profile yet, leave the links empty and the stores will create one when the first release is delivered. Why it matters Stores match a release to an artist page using the profile you link. With no Spotify profile linked, the stores have to guess which artist page the release belongs to, and it can end up on another artist's page with theFew readers
  • I can't find my release in a store
Most of the time a missing release is still being processed by the store, isn't out yet because of its release date, or isn't available in your country. Start with the release's Delivery tab, which shows where each store is up to. 1. Check the release status Open Releases and click the release. The status at the top tells you where it is: Status What it means In Review We're still reviewing it. Review usually takes 1–2 business days. Approved / **DelFew readers
  • Your music on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube
Your release can be used in videos on TikTok, Instagram and Facebook, and earn from YouTube videos through Content ID, if you opt in for that release in the builder. YouTube Music, the streaming service, is a regular store and gets your release like Spotify or Apple Music. What you have to turn on These platforms work differently from streaming stores: they recognise your recording when other people use it in their videos, and pay you for that use. Because of this, they're a separate choiceFew readers

  • My release is on the wrong artist page
If your release shows up on another artist's page, or someone else's release shows up on yours, contact us with the details and we'll get it moved. The fix has to go through the store, so changing the link in your account won't move a release that's already out. What to send us Send us a message from the chat on this page, or email team@ammdistro.com, with: The release name, and the store where it's on the wrong page (for example Spotify or Apple Music). A link to the page it's on now.Few readers
  • Get access to Spotify for Artists and other artist tools
Spotify for Artists, Apple Music for Artists and TikTok for Artists are run by the stores themselves. You request access from the store, and the store decides whether to give it to you. We can't add you to these tools, but we can help if a store asks for information from your distributor. Before you request access The artist profile has to exist on the store. For a new artist, the store creates the profile when the first release is delivered. Check the release's Delivery tab to seFew readers
  • Spotify Artist Profile Protection
Spotify Artist Profile Protection is a Spotify for Artists setting that makes Spotify hold new releases for an artist page until the artist approves them. Before we deliver to a Spotify profile for the first time, the release builder asks whether that profile has protection turned on, so your release isn't held back without you knowing. When you'll see the question The Spotify profile protection panel appears in Review & submit when your release goes to Spotify and bills an artist wFew readers
