  • Can I release AI-generated music?
No. AMM Distro doesn't accept AI-generated music, AI vocals presented as a real artist, or AI-generated artist personas. Every artist confirms this when they apply, and we review releases and audit catalogs for it. What the policy covers We don't distribute: Songs where the music or vocals were generated by AI AI vocals presented as if a real person sang them Artist identities that are AI-generated, such as an invented singer with AI photos and an AI voice When you apply, you tick *Few readers
  • Copyright claims and counter-notices
If someone files a copyright notice against one of your releases, we open a case on the DMCA cases page and email the account's admins and owner. You respond there: either agree to the takedown, or contest the claim with evidence. If we approve it, you can then file a formal counter-notice. • Who owns my music?
You do. Distributing with AMM Distro doesn't take ownership of your masters. Funding and label partnerships are separate deals you can choose to pitch for, and they're never a condition of distribution. What AMM Distro does get is the right to deliver your releases to stores and collect the money they earn, under the agreements you sign with us. Your agreements with AMM Account agreement. • Artificial streaming
Artificial streams are plays that don't come from real people choosing to listen, such as plays from bots, scripts, click farms or paid "stream" services. Stores filter them out, and AMM Distro shows you when stores have flagged any on your music. What counts as artificial streaming Buying streams, followers or playlist placements that promise a number of plays Using bots, scripts or many accounts to play your own music on repeat Paying for playlists that are filled with fake listenerFew readers
  • Samples, covers and permissions
You can release music with samples, covers and features on AMM Distro, as long as you have permission for everything in it. Samples are fine. Uncleared samples aren't. Covers must credit the original song's writers. Samples We review every release for sample use, and we can't put out anything we know isn't cleared. Cleared samples are fine. Get written permission for both the recording you sampled and the song it comes from. Royalty-free sample packs are fine within the pack'sFew readers
