How your rate is worked out

Your rate is what you earn for one campaign video. ANTHM works it out from how your recent TikTok videos perform, adjusted for the kind of videos you make, the language you post in, where your audience is and how steady your views are. The number shown is what lands in your account.

Where you see your rate

At the end of Creator setup, the Your rate screen shows You earn, per video and the steps behind it under How we got there.

The Your rate screen showing You earn, per video and the How we got there breakdown

What goes into it

Line

What it means

Your typical video

The usual number of views your recent videos get. We use the middle value, so one viral video or one flop doesn't swing it. This sets the starting rate.

Content style

The style you chose. Videos that take more work, like dance or edited videos, raise the rate.

Language

The language you post in.

Audience market

The country where most of your audience is.

Consistency

How steady your views are from video to video.

Based on your last N videos

How many of your recent videos were read.

Each line after the first shows a multiplier, like ×1.15. A number above 1.00 raises your rate, 1.00 leaves it the same, and below 1.00 lowers it.

Your rate changes over time

We recheck your rate every couple of weeks using your latest videos. As your videos get more views, your rate goes up.

Some rates are checked by a person before they're final, for example when the numbers don't agree with each other. If we couldn't work out a rate automatically, you'll see "We'll be in touch". Someone at ANTHM will set your rate by hand, and you can still browse campaigns in the meantime.

How your rate relates to campaign pay

Campaigns on the Marketplace set their own pay, shown on each listing, for example "$40.00 · $75.00" for a campaign with two pay levels. On some campaigns, ANTHM's commission comes out of that pay, so the amount credited to you can be lower than the listing shows. What's actually credited to you appears in My Work and Earnings.

Your rate is used when ANTHM matches you with campaigns and books you directly, and it's already the amount you receive.

Your Creator Profile also has a Rate per video field ("Your typical ask"). That's a number you set yourself to show labels. It's separate from the rate ANTHM works out.

Common questions

My rate seems low

The biggest factor is your typical views. Posting regularly and keeping your views steady also helps. Your rate updates on its own as your numbers change.

I chose the wrong content style

Send us a message from the chat on this page, or email team@ammdistro.com, and we'll update it.

Is a fee taken from my rate?

No. The rate shown is what you receive for the video.
