How to join AMM Distro

AMM Distro is invite-only. To join, apply from ammdistro.com. Artists answer a few questions and see the tier they can apply for straight away. Labels fill in a short form and are reviewed by our team.

If someone has already invited you to their team or sent you a royalty split, you don't need to apply. See Accept an invitation.

Start an application

1. Go to ammdistro.com and click Apply (top right) or Apply for AMM Distro.
2. Choose I'm an artist or I run a label.

If you're an artist

The artist application takes a few minutes and has seven steps.

1. Our policies. We don't accept AI-generated music or AI personas, and samples must be cleared. Tick My music and my artist identity are not AI-generated. to continue.
2. Your profile. Paste your Spotify artist link. We read your monthly listeners and releases from it. Click That's me to confirm it's you.
3. Distribution. Tick the distributors and labels you currently release with. If one is missing or wrong, add it. Tell us why you want to move to AMM Distro.
4. What you need. Tell us what you're looking for and pick your genre.
5. Promotion. Choose how you promote your music (TikTok, Instagram Reels, playlist pitching, YouTube, paid ads, press and radio, live shows, or not much yet). You can add your TikTok profile.
6. Contact. Enter your name and email, then click See where you fit.
7. Your fit. You'll see your monthly listeners, independent streams per day, your top track and your TikTok likes, along with the tier you can apply for and the share of royalties you would keep at that tier. Agree to the Terms of Service and click Send application.

Only streams from releases on the distributors you said you control are counted for the tier.

The tier you see is what you're eligible to apply for. It isn't a contract or an offer. Our team reviews every application, and heavy sample use, AI use, or music that isn't a fit can be reasons we decline.

If your numbers are below what we can take on, the last step says so and suggests closing the application. You can still click Apply anyway and make your case with up to three links and a note.

If you run a label

Fill in:

• Label name
• Estimated catalog size
• Estimated current monthly revenue
• Current distributor (optional)
• Anything we should know (optional)

Someone from our team reviews your catalog and emails you directly.

What happens next

• Artists: our team reviews your application against the tier you saw. If it's a fit, your manager contacts you to set up a call.
• Labels: we review your catalog and email you.

If you're accepted, you'll get an email invitation to AMM Distro. Sign in with the address the invitation was sent to.

Common questions

Is there a minimum age?

Artists under 18 can release with us, but a parent or legal guardian has to co-sign the release agreement.

Can I apply if I use AI tools?

We don't accept AI-generated music or AI personas.

I applied but haven't heard back.
